How we verify listings

Lead evaluation contractor listings come from the NJ Department of Community Affairs list of certified lead evaluation contractors (revised 8/11/2026), retrieved and checked on 2026-10-12. Town certificate details are marked verified source only when we found an official municipal page; everything else is marked ⚠ (confirm with town).

What we check

• Each contractor appears on the DCA list; the certification number and expiry date are shown, and certifications expiring within 60 days are flagged.
• Town pages link the official municipal source where one was found (found 2026-10-12).

What we don't verify

• Workmanship, prices, insurance or availability.
• Phone numbers, websites, ratings and emails we added from Google Maps listings and firm websites (labelled on each card). We match them carefully, but they are not part of the official record.

Corrections

Spot an error? Use list, claim, correct or remove a listing. Every request will be checked against the official credential record before anything changes. See also about our data.
